Facilities
As a wedding venue Fantail Lodge is one of the most comprehensive facilities in the Tauranga area. The combination of superior accommodation, a tranquil native bush setting, excellent cuisine and service, and the addition of our consultancy service, is the best guarantee of a successful day.
The Lodge can seat approximately sixty guests in the restaurant. For larger weddings of up to 120 quests we create a canopy in front of the restaurant overlooking the grounds.

Entertainment
A pianist, duo or trio. A classical guitarist, or a string quartet. We can provide entertainment to suit almost every taste. Recently we have found that wedding quests have enjoyed electronic clay bird shooting while the bridal party are having their photographs taken. A safe fun activity for all ages, and a great ice breaker. Those Special Touches Of course you will expect flowers at each table as part of the Fantail Experience. Should you wish, we can also provide a full floral display, or suggest a commercial florist. We are also happy to have family and friends decorate the Lodge. We can provide bouquets, buttonholes, feature arrangements, and special table arrangements. Just let us know your requirements. At Fantail Lodge you will also expect and receive full access to the outdoor facilities. Stroll in the extensive grounds, use the sporting equipment, swimming pool or tennis court. A wedding at Fantail means that your privacy is assured and you have full use of all outdoor facilities. We can provide a wedding cake in the style of your choice. Once you have selected a design you no longer have to worry about picking it up and transporting it. We ensure that your cake is at the Lodge. We can also provide make up artists and hairdressers, and even a marriage celebrant. And if you want to arrive in style we can provide transport too. A vintage Ford Model A Tourer and driver in period costume. A horse and buggy, a Mustang convertible, stretch limousine, Harley Davidson or a helicopter. Let your imagination run wild and we will provide the vehicle for that grand entrance.

Photography No wedding is complete without those special wedding photographs. We can provide a photographer who knows the Lodge well, and is most able to take advantage of the location to record your special day. Video Increasingly, bridal couples are requesting a video record of their wedding. A video provides all those special moments that photographs are unable to record. We can provide a total package which includes coverage of the day, fully edited and accompanied by music of you choice. The tapes are presented in printed cases. Consultancy We have now been involved with a large number of weddings, each one special, each one different; and we have shared these social occasions with our guests. A confirmed wedding (after receiving a non refundable deposit) allows us to offer you our professional guidance and advice. We can also help you to avoid the pitfalls of organising an event like this, saving you both time and worry. Our aim is to make your wedding day memorable and perfect in every way.
Beverages We can help you choose the best way of providing beverages for your guests' at the most cost effective price and pass the savings on to you.
